IT IS SNOWING IN NC!!!!!

We made it to NC and everyone is having a great time. They took us to see the town Christmas tree lighting. They had performers (dancers, singers, bands, etc.) to accompany them and it was wonderful!!!! We weren't able to get a good picture of Brandon but here is one of Emily when she was dancing with the music.

Em now recognizes playgrounds from the road....whenever she sees one she starts saying, "Daddy playground...Mommy playground....brother playground...." She was thrilled to explore this playground. Brandon was excited as well and took off after her. It took him a little bit longer but he did make it inside the 'tubes' and went down a slide.

We all had a great time watching Emily paint. After she finished painting her puppy - she gave him a kiss on the nose. It was so sweet! Brandon loved craft time and the time to crawl around ON ALL 4s!!!

We went to see "ducks" by Auntie Jenn and Uncle Jason's house....they were actually geese but Emily still thought we should call them ducks. We took bread to feed them but they flew off. Emily tried to tell them to wait but they didn't listen.....

First family vacation, update 1

Henderson family vacation going well - we made it to North Liberty, IA.  Fun trip so far, kids are having a blast and the drive has been easy. Normal holiday traffic around Dallas, but thats been it. We left home at 12:45 on Wed and got to Auntie Jenn and Uncle Jason's (Liz's sister and brother-in-law) around 4:00 pm on Thanksgiving. Liz's parents age here, too and Em and Brandon are loving seeing everyone.
Right now Em is practicing cheering for Uncle Jason's volleyball team's games this weekend - he coaches for the University of Iowa. We are so thankful to be here.

Emily really likes the artificial climbing walls her size at the Sonic playground and at a park in Katy near her grandparents' house. So, we decided we'd let her try out the one at camp. She liked it.

We are having another baby! June 25 is the due date.

Water time

Richie took us out with Lee and Konrad to surf and skate a little last night. Em loves riding in the boat.

It is so fun to watch the kids develop interests. Em has shown lots of interest in music - hope she has more talent than her parents. She's also starting to try to accessorize and dress herself at times. She just HAD to wear this pink cat hat to play outside the other day.
